Lead designers of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Jeff Kaplan and Tom Chilton as well as producer J. Allen Brack answer some questions about the expansion and WoW by EuroGamer. Some of the topics of discussion are the making of all raid dungeons accessible to groups of 10 players as well as groups of 25, why they struggled to get PvP working in WoW, the new Death Knight class and various other topics.
Here is an extract:
Eurogamer: Which aspect of the game is going to be moved furthest forward by Lich King?
J. Allen Brack: [Mimes pumping shotgun] Chk-chk, loaded question. Questing I think is going to be advanced greatly by the vehicle technology and the different ideas that the designers come up with. They've come up with some insane quest things that are absolutely amazing. No-one would have predicted that the bombing missions would be as popular as they were in Burning Crusade, and they've outdone themselves.
I think PVP is going to be hugely advanced. Dungeons? I think we have a pretty good idea about how to make dungeons. It's more honing the focus of dungeons to be a one-hour experience.

In my opinion Age of Conan rocks World of Warcraft in every single aspect of the game.
Fucking noobs players from Counter-Strike or whatever who don't know what's a mmo will stay on WoW, but AoC is better than WoW, AioN is better that WoW, DAoC is better than WoW.
Please the wow fanboys who discovered mmorpg with this game don't thumb me down :-(
finally SK-Gaming.com isn't a mmorpg site by far.
I like!
Well see if AoC can top WoW.
I have high expectations of AoC 18+ now ;)
first of all ppl like wow because they like the game play, combat system, reward .. pvp and pve wise!
not because its beter then any other game, even if its beter, its just from theyre point of view, its theyre opinion about it, if you find that hard to confront then i suggest you just find a beter hobby then flame on online communities.
and i have seen AoC vids and stuff, looks great i signed up for the beta, didnt get any account thou, but i had a friends account i could try, but the download was WAY to much so i just skipped it!
OT: nice interview, looking forward to WotLK and what surprises they have for us :D
ps. non WoW gamers and haters, just Please dont post here unless its some useful comments.
