Tonight the six participants for the e-Stars Seoul 2008 who will play for Team West and Team East were released. The teams were voted by the community but also chosen on their recent achievements and the e-Stars judge committee. There has been a massive discussion in the past months about the e-Stars Seoul voting about faking and the weak voting security. Still this did not affect the outcome in any way as the six highest voted teams are now going to Seoul to play the tournament.
For Team West it's emuLate, fnatic and Meet Your Makers and Team East consists of e-STRO, wNv.cn and Team-Dragon. Three of those teams just attended the KODE5 Global Final in Moscow where fnatic finished second, MYM fourth but Team Dragon was already eliminated in the Group Stage.
The tournament looks very promising with these teams but still the controversy with the vote leaves a bad taste. Still you can look forward to some great matches in Counter-Strike and Warcraft III, the event takes place from July 24th to July 27th 2008. You can also check out the Warcraft III nominations.

mtw.dk maybe deserved it more but before they won kode5 nobody talked about them as a favorite to go to seoul, and now everyone said they are the best in the world... in the top10 team in the world every team can win a big event, i think it just depend on which team have a good day or not.
You'll see :)
