Miikka "dRiim" Toroi, a not-so-familiar player has now joined to Team Excello along with Samu "plastE" Aalto, a former Team Roccat player. Not a long time ago we saw Tino "tihOp" Puumala replacing Aalto in Team Roccat, which put Aalto into free agent. Time being a free agent did not last long, as Team Excello secured him.

Another player in the renewed roster is Toroi, a 17 years old player, who steps in to take Antti "Shiri" Mäkinen's place in the team. Toroi comes from a Finnish team Elukkaveljekset, who surprised the scene by placing second at Assembly Winter 2007, and was even able to beat Excello.

Team Excello explains this roster change by leaning on the fact that "the change was crucial to keep the team alive". Puumala's departure made the team to change roster couple of times, which slowed down announcing news, but is now ready to continue battling again in the competitive scene. "We have been playing really bad in last 3 tournaments and as a team we decided change our line-up more than just replacement for tihOp," says Janne "Kuppi" Kuparinen, one of the most experienced players in Team Excello.

Kuparinen continued to say the reason of Mäkinen's departure was just lack of motivation and Finnish military service coming up this summer. "We decided to remove Antti ”Shiri” Mäkinen from our line-up, because he didn’t have any motivation to play CS, especially when he is going to have army duty coming in this summer."
