Second day of RoTK

On the next day the organization was much better and there was just a delay of 1 ½ hour. We had to win both our clan wars to manage to reach the playoffs and so we did. We were lucky that MYM lost to wNv so we could secure ourselves the 1st spot.

Earlier the day I talked to WE.King who asked me why we lost to MYM because he would like to play vs MYM after the group matches and not versus us. Our mapscore was better than MYM so we finished our group first and had to face fnatic on the next day.

Funny thing with fnatic was that the managers of fnatic asked me on msn the first day if there is something wrong with the fnatic guys and if they perhaps they did not feel comfortable as they lost both their matches.

I told them that they were okay just a bit unlucky today and that they are out for sure because normally if you lose two wars you are automatically out. Well, they still managed to end the group with the 2nd place.

So on the 3rd day we had to play versus fnatic. We played on Stage B and MYM versus WE was on Stage A and on Stage A, there were a lot of people watching it.

When MYM versus WE was over the crowd was coming to Stage B but when they arrived the last match SoJu vs Shy was going on and when like the last person arrived the game was over and SoJu managed to win on TS.

The people did not really realize that the game was over and that the war was finished. They were all staring at us as we packed our stuff and one of the admins wrote a message and published it on the screen that the war is over, as everyone realized they started laughing and leaving the stage.

Old friends collide - SK versus WE

The next day was the big day versus our old clan mates WE. We knew that they were really well prepared and that they showed impressive results lately. Sky and Infi showed their skills at last NSL and Ted was on fire by beating MYM the day before, so we knew that we will have a tough war versus them.

I talked to King and Hotlips the days before in their hotel room and we talked about old times and they already said that they could not understand why someone would not counter the 2on2 versus us.

So when it came to the war versus World Elite we wanted to use the 2on2 card for ReMinD versus Sky but they immediately countered it, it made both sides smile because it was so clear.

Ted was still on fire and beat ReMinD, ReiGn and then even Lyn twice. I mean it was already clear that Ted is pretty good vs orcs but not that he is that good.

He knows when to attack and what to do, he got such a perfect timing its unbelievable. The game of SoJu vs Ted on TR was a really nice game with nice high level heroes, if you did not watch it you should do its just amazing.

SoJu had a good run beating Infi within 20 min. in a bo1 and bo3 I guess nobody expected that Infi would lose that fast. Last game was SoJu vs Like we had Charm left so we chose the map, SoJu wanted TS and felt confident.

The game did not look that bad at the start until early mid game but then it was obvious that SoJu was nervous he tried to play it without any risk and gave Like too much time to creep almost the whole map and then he had no chance anymore versus Likes high level heroes.

At the end Rotk found a well deserved winner who showed an excellent performance during the whole war, I am glad that we showed the audience a great final and hope that we can get a re game in the near future. Congratulations again World Elite !!!

After the final we went home to get some rest and afterwards we went to a club called Babi, on the way to the club it was raining like hell and it took us more than an hour to get to the club.

Normally it takes like 20 to 25min, but it was unbelievable how much it was raining, the water could not even flow off the road so some cars were stuck in the water it was a state of emergency.

The club was okay more funny was the thing which happened to MYM later on. Someone got really wasted ^^After Rotk I went back to Korea to spend some days there and now I am back in Germany. I hope you enjoyed reading this blog as I had fun writing it.
