BlizzCon 2008 announced
Today Blizzard announced the plans for their third BlizzCon gaming convention.

Today Blizzard announced the plans for their third BlizzCon gaming convention.
Just like previous years it will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California on October 10 and 11. Due to the popularity of the event they have now also expanded from two to three convention halls.
Some of the activites that will be available at BlizzCon 2008:
* Hands-on play time with upcoming Blizzard Entertainment releases
* Discussion panels with Blizzard Entertainment developers
* Competitive and casual tournaments for players to showcase their talents
* Areas and activities devoted to licensed products such as the World of Warcraft® Trading Card Game
* Costume, machinima, and character sound-alike contests with great prizes
* Commemorative merchandise based on the Blizzard Entertainment franchises
* A silent auction
* More exciting activities to be announced
Tickets can be purchased for $100, more details will be announced soon at www.blizzcon.com. The official press release can be found here.
