The semi final went down to three maps. Fnatic did not look like the team that lost to the underestimated Americans one day before. They dictated the pace of the game against MYM and the Polish team was forced to try to come back several times.

They almost managed to do so on the de_train, where they were a round away from going to overtime after they lost the first half 11:4 as CT. Then, they dug themselves out of an even deeper hole and won de_inferno 16-14 after losing 3:12 as CT again.

It seemed like de_nuke would turn out to be a nailbiter as well - the first half ended 6-9 in favour of Fnatic. But as CT, the Swedes proved too strong in the end and took seven consecutive rounds to guarantee themselves a spot in the final.
