Team Fnatic suffered as they were made to watch as their fate was decided by someone else. The Americans did not break under pressure and they are the dark horses of the tournament so far, beating both teams named as favourites in their group.

The match was not even very close. The Americans started off with a lead and slowly increased the gap between the teams. By the time the first half ended, EG were in the lead 10-5 and from that point on it was pretty much over.
