Kode5 has produced the first major upset of the day, as the Swedish team of Fnatic have lost to Team EG from the US. Their fate lies in the hands of Virtus.pro and EG, and right now Fnatic going through to the playoffs would be a huge leap of faith. In order for Fnatic to keep on playing in the event, they need EG to beat Virtus.pro. Not just beat them but beat them badly, because with a tie between the Swedes and the Russians, the overall round difference will count. So Fnatic's fate seems like it is sealed unless something major happens.
