Next grand final, and definitely another big game is the last match of the running Prime Defending #10. SK.DotA played the winner bracket, beating teams like Team Shakens, The Elder Gods, WolkeR-Gaming and the surprising Danish newcomers from Mom equals Toilet.
With the loser bracket final to be played tonight, it will be decided if WolkeR-Gaming will challenge SK.DotA once more, or if Storm Games Clan, who kicked out Meet Your Makers in the first round of the play offs, will try to win this tournament.
But not only the tournaments are in the final spurt, also the well known DotA-League is close to the end of the running season. Meet Your Makers still in lead, with both SK.DotA and Mousesports in a short distance and equal points behind them. SK.DotA has the advantage of one game less played as their match versus O_O was postponed.
So, SK.DotA is still participating in these major events, with a good chance to take home two out of these three titles. The DotA-League seems to be in the hands of Meet Your Makers, who also won the last season.
Only one sad thing to announce is the fact that Avid Gaming defeated SK.DotA in the first round of the ENADC playoffs. As this tournament has no loser bracket for the first round of playoffs, there is no way for a comeback. I Got Game, Avid Gaming, mousesports and Meet Your Makers are the final four to play for the total prize pool of $1,800.
"ESWC is the most important event in my mind, and we'll do everything necessary to reach THE best place - SK|Rwar"
Far away from the European scene, the Singapurian team IMPREZA managed to defeat both Kingsurf in the semi final and XcN in the grand final of the Samsung King of the Hill, taking home $1,500.
With the ASUS Spring 2008 and the a bit more prospective ESWC Masters of Paris, there are also coming up some major events played offline. SK.DotA will definitely play the ASUS event at Moscow the next week, and with a little luck you can watch them also this June in Paris.
Some little hint for those who are not 100% up to date all the time: DotA-League will announce another exciting tournament soon, but we will let you know when it is official.

SK - consistent and impressive team.
MYM - Powerhouse oldschool, great skill evenly distributed amongst players.
WG - kinda newcomer, but also impressive in team-play and results.
TeG - consistent team, with more to show in the future, maybe new additions.
Ks - nuff said, they work surprisingly well in every tournament they play in.
In my opinion these are the top 5 teams at the moment, without any discussion. VP is arrogant in attitude, but outskill everyone they meet(well, almost everyone), the only thing they lack is sportmanship and, again, consistency.
What will the outcome be? Wait and see. :)
