The organisers stated that the delay has been caused due to delays with the gathering of 2007 achievements from all the nominees and the affirmation and evaluation of all criteria.

Thus far, no information about the late voting frenzy has been released. Also the vote will still have it's prime 50% share of determining which teams should be invited, leaving the other 50% split, with 30% going to Continental Cup Committee's decision and 20% to the evaluation of previous achievements.

The digital culture festival which will take part in the heart of Seoul, South Korea, at the Seoul Trade Exhibition Center will run in the period of July 24-27, 2008.
