Major League Gaming announces a PC Circuit featuring World of Warcraft Arena, in it's 3 major stops for this summer's MLG pro circuit - featuring 22,500$ in prizes per event.MLG brings 3 US stops to the summer WoW Arena circuit, which includes Blizzard events in Paris, the upcoming Blizzard online tournament and future events to be announced.

"MLG announces New PC Circuit
Major League Gaming, parent company of MMO-Champion.com, is adding PC gaming to 3 of its Pro Circuit Stops. The PC Circuit will feature World of Warcraft®: The Burning Crusade®, with $22,500 in prizes per event. The entire PC Circuit will be played on HP Blackbird 002 (http://www.hp.com/blackbird/).
Kick-off event: MLG San Diego, June 13-15
Other stops: MLG Orlando, July 11-13 and MLG Dallas, TBD.
Official PC Circuit game: World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade
Format: Arena 3-vs-3 - more details on rules and the official format will be released on May 15.
Total spots available: 32 teams
Prizes: $22,500 per event
Registration is expected to open May 15th.

Idk whether or not "it is suited for pro gaming" and who the fuck cares anyway? Why not just ride along and see what happens?
However these stupid comments from people who have absolutely no clue about wow's competitive potential (no you cant predict the future) is seriously tiring me. These events dont hurt you in any way possible so there really isn't a need to be such a prick about it. Just my two cents.
I couldn't agree more to what dr0l3 is saying. Most players are just following the popular "whine topics" these days.
And if WOW requires no skill, then why is it consistenly the same people topping the ladders?
Look at DOTA, you are controlling 1 hero with 2-3 abilities normally, and the rest is just moving around on the map etc. In WOW you are controlling a char with 25-30 abilities, im personally using around 30 keybindings thats being used consistently, add movement, teamwork and coordination to that.

WoW in some points its a VERY BAD game, but we have to admit that are no better games YET imo...
