Team Pandemic fought their way to the final with ease compared to EG, as EG was sent into the lower bracket after losing their first playoffs match versus the American Guardians CoD4 squad.

Despite the 1/16 final defeat, EG's the performance in the grand final was rather good. Pandemic choose mp_strike as their map, both Pandemic's best and one of EG's worst. Despite this fact, EG quickly took the lead with 5-1 in the first phase of the match and EG eventually won the map with 13-7.

EG then picked mp_backlot as their own map and with some tense 1v1 duels and an excellent defence the, Canadians managed to lead by 8-4 after the first half. Then Team Pandemic woke up and took the lead, although EG quickly regained the lead at 12-11, which meant the battle was over and EG were crowned the first CEVO-Proffessional Grand Championship champions.
