One of the best game developers, Blizzard have taken a step into the future and took over the diablo3.com domain name from their previous owners, a never-dying Diablo community.Yesterday, the people over at Diablo3.com, announced (link via Kotaku) that after Blizzard contacted them about acquiring their domain name, the community will slowly change to their new one - diablofans.com.
The transfer was done with a mutual agreement and the domain was handed over to Blizzard without any cost, proving that there still are people who think that money can’t buy all. Also they have agreed to not rush things and slowly transfer things to the new "home" and the redirect won’t be changed until June 2008.
Despite the last speculations around job openings, and now acquiring the diablo3.com domain name, Blizzard still insists that these happenings shouldn't be considered as an official announcement for the legendary game's sequel.

Great!
just cool news :)
That was a kind hearted, naive and stupid move...
Ofc it's suspicious cause it goes along with them hiring new employees and all, but nothing to get overly excited about. Especially the "giving away the URL for free" thing.
Long way to go but it is coming.
I'M WAITING FOR THIS SINCE SO MUCH FKCN TIME...
THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST NEWS I'VE HEARD IN MY LIFE :|
