The two-week-long registration was closed three days ago and WC3L has made the 26 contenders for the qualification public. Apart from hoorai and Serious Gaming who relegated from the running WC3L as the bottom two and mTw who were crushed out by Fnatic in the Playdowns, Team Alternate and PGS Gaming will decide who will earn a spot in the qualification at 20:00 CET on Thursday. BioXar and ieS Virtual Gaming earn another two spots thanks to their consistent performance during the second season of WCIP. WC3L picked the rest of the participants and it could turn out to be one of the toughest WC3L qualifications ever. It gathers more or less all the teams of renown around the world: from recently formed North American team H2O, to various European teams like Gravitas Gaming and DELTAeSPORTS as well as Asian teams like wNv Teamwork and NiceGameTV.

The grid will be available on Monday, May 5 and the first round will kick off on Thursday, May 8.
