The legendary Korean Undead player is rumoured to discontinue his gaming career lately after being inactive in the recent months. While a lot of his fans were hopeful of him coming back strong like he did both in game and out of game in the past, the player confirmed the rumour in NiceGameTV's latest episode of Warcraft 3 Live Battle yesterday.
NiceGameTV invites professional gamers to play show match in battle.net and Sweet was the invitee yesterday. The 22-year-old revealed that this was going to be the last match for him and stopped gaming as he was on his way to serve military service. He wished everyone would have fun in game and good luck in the future.
Sweet joined SK Gaming in 2004 and returned together with Tae Min "Zacard" Hwang in 2006 after one year stay in World Elite. He is known for his tenacious spirit and marvelous comebacks from huge disadvantages in game.
Some of the images Sweet's fans will remember are him waving his fists around after defeating Dong Moon "GoStop" Kim 3-2 from a 0-2 drawback in the Grand Final of WEG2006 Season III, him putting his hands on the trophy of BWI after two massive victories over Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen in the Grand Final, or the picture of him producing one epic after another against his rival Jae Ho "Moon" Jang on Twisted Meadows.
Sweet has displayed too many momentous classics to be named once. However, all good things come to an end. We wish him best of luck in the future.

Sweet had always been my favourite player, really really sad that he quits Warcraft 3 now.
We'll nerver forget you.
By the way, can someone upload the match between Moon and Sweet on TM? I think I didn't see that one...
Have fun during your military service, no doubt you will make a comeback quickly :)
- Good luck
I don't get it why Southkorea or atleast it's public tries to do away with the military duty, me as a pacifist have to say that there can never be world peace if the population (not only in Korea) works for it.
You wouldn't have called for the military service to be removed here when Germany was still divided, would you?
With your argumentation the atomic armament during the cold war was justified which led to the situation that our world could be nuked to the ground atleast one time.
If people want to live in a peaceful world without such a power of destruction and unnecessary armies that are just created to protect them from their "enemies" then they should start now.
Some Americans might have argued that the armament was necessary to protect them from the Russians and greatly missed the point that they are also a part of humanity just as they are.
There are many that are nearly driven mad by their national and cultural thoughts and ideologies.
What I say is that every human should see himself first as a human, then as a member of a culture/state whatever and not the away way around and thus have a greater responsibility not only for their country but for the world as a whole.
I know it all sounds a bit naive and idealistic , I won't write more about the topic because this isn't the place to do so. But I have the feeling a big part of the world population has lost sight on the "greater goal" as I call it and only thinks in their national barriers.
My point, that I will not explain further here is that every army that exists is a crime and a stumbling block against world peace and peaceful coexistence.
