Warcraft3 player Yoan "ToD" Merlo has voiced his opinion on the hostilities spawned between China and the Western media following the journey of the Olympic torch through Europe and riots in Tibet.French Warcraft3 player and Chinese-resident Yoan "ToD" Merlo was quizzed on his opinions of the events and the tension between the Chinese and the French following Sarkozy's announcement.

A friend of mine student in Tsin Hua share my beliefs aswell.. And is really annoyed by all those happenings.. Because now people think of the French as really bad people."
This hostilities arose after a large majority of the Chinese public believe they had been villainised by the Western media and facts and photos of the torch's journey and the conflicts in Tibet had been bent and edited in order to give off a negative message.
Another hot topic for the Chinese public is the choice by French President Nicolas Sarkozy to announce he would boycott his attendance at the upcoming Beijing Olympics following the recent trouble in Tibet.
