The event kicks off this Wednesday (April 23rd) and will be continued for two months. Sixteen of the most famous World of Warcraft players in Korea has been invited to fight for a total prize purse measuring $10,000.
The format is very different from other WoW tournaments, as the matches will be played in a best of five series, although the first, third and fifth will be 1vs1 and the second and fourth 3vs3. The 16 "named" players will put together a 3vs3 team each.
DesertEagle, ChoiMinso, culnom, richter, musso, clazzi, agapr and runeblade are some of the invited players that will participate in the tournament.
All matches will be played at the GOMTV studio in Seoul, Korea, and will be broadcasted in English from April 23 every following Wednesday on www.gomtv.net.

It is sad that there is so little information about the PvP scene in Korea which I guess is highly competitive.
The results however should be very interesting.
Rogue Vs Rogue
http://www.gomtv.net/wow/news/15
Is gomtv really on tv?
a korean friend told me it isnt :P only web
btw your site rocks puertorican :P
it better be as good as the SC competitions they have out there ;p
finals rogue(that didnt face feral druid) vs another rogue(that didnt face feral druid)
gonna be interesting
i mean really, you put on you tv and see arena matches in slomotion, with comments
(I'll be translating the Korean named teams into English based on how they sound in Korean)
Seems like it's played 1v1 then 3v3 then 1v1 then 3v3 then finally 1v1. Whoever reaches 3 wins first wins the whole match so it doesn't always reach to full 5 games.
I'll do teamprofiles right after this post.
