WoW tournament on Korean TV

This Wednesday K∙SWISS The Named: World of Warcraft kicks off, a WoW tournament which will be broadcasted on the Korean TV channel GOMTV, mostly known for their extremely successful Starcraft tournament Star Invitational.

The event kicks off this Wednesday (April 23rd) and will be continued for two months. Sixteen of the most famous World of Warcraft players in Korea has been invited to fight for a total prize purse measuring $10,000.

The format is very different from other WoW tournaments, as the matches will be played in a best of five series, although the first, third and fifth will be 1vs1 and the second and fourth 3vs3. The 16 "named" players will put together a 3vs3 team each.

DesertEagle, ChoiMinso, culnom, richter, musso, clazzi, agapr and runeblade are some of the invited players that will participate in the tournament.

All matches will be played at the GOMTV studio in Seoul, Korea, and will be broadcasted in English from April 23 every following Wednesday on www.gomtv.net.
