The Championship Gaming Series has signed Marcus "djWHEAT" Graham, also known as "The World's Loudest Human," to be the host and producer of their events. This leaves the well known Epileptic Gaming video show an orphan."The most popular U.S. eSports personality, Marcus ‘djWHEAT’ Graham, will be joining the league exclusively as the lead CGS sportscaster and host of online programming for all CGS events, including broadcast shows, online programming, and live competitions," says the press release, forgetting Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel. "Graham will kick off his new role as the host and producer of the CGS North America Training Camp, which begins next week."
djWHEAT will rejoin Paul "ReDeYe" Chaloner at the commentator's seat. It looks as though Stuart "Tosspot" Saw might be sidelined from shoutcasting North American CGS activities.
The departure of GGL's main producer is a fatal blow to Epileptic Gaming, djWHEAT's "private" show about video games, and a huge loss for the GGL itself. Over the years, GGL broadcasted some of the world's biggest events with djWHEAT, including BlizzCon, QuakeCon, ESWC and three WCGs between 2005 and 2007. Without its linchpin, it is doubtful if GGL will cover another top gaming event.
The GGL's presence in the world of esports is waning overall, with the Digital Games in China being the last pin on the map of professional gaming. With few details announced about the event, that pin is still a virtual one too.

The GGL is able to make changes to the show without any kind of resistance now, although I imagine if they do it'll appear as something else. Markus, I'm sure, still owns the rights to Epileptic Gaming.
It could wind up being a good move for both parties.
Marcus was the last of the big people at GGL which created original content that people actually came to the site for, so I would say its a huge blow for them. He joins a long list of people who have provided GGL with that unique content that have now left and without any disrespect to those still at GGL, the quality numbers very few.
The two hundred viewers I saw tells a different tale.
"GGL do not own the rights to EG (WHEAT does) and Marcus is free to take the show with him wherever he decides in the future."
Pretty sure that's what I said.
"GGL never had creative control over the show, Marcus always did,"
Pretty sure I said that too.
TosspoT aims to build an own company hosting a league and several LAN events in Europe. Doubt he's interested in shoutcasting CSS in the US right now.
Although its most likely true
Best of luck Wheat!

I would personally rather TosspoT get the casting job, I like watching him cast more. I rather just have Marcus as everything, but let Stuart cast.
To bo, whilst I'm glad you're batting my corner its of course a huge shame not to be working on one of the biggest projects in gaming. I've got other projects to keep me busy though as you mentioned, and if I remember your comment rightly the other day, I'll see you in September :)
Content is just upper case...
I hope Marcus really changes things up at the CGS and makes it more exciting to watch :P
WHEAT is one of the FEW casters who can cast across multiple games and do it well. I think he is the only person who could cast a came he knows almost nothing about and it would still be enjoyable.
No more random profanity outbursts from wheat though will suck though :\
Good move CGS, and GL to The World's Loudest Human
