2,200 rating required for shoulders in S4?
The WoW armory has been updated with some season 4 gear, and it seems like they have upped the personal rating requirement to 2,200 rating.

However, I don't get why ppl complain now. Gear doesn't show your skill, rating shows it. And who cares about kids with full s3, since you win over them anyway ^_^
U ill have to play hard,if u arent hardcore pvper to get a weapon/or shoulder.
Seriously though, I dont see the reason to even have personal ratings, who cares that some noob gets a pair of shoulders, he will still be a noob and you will still crush him in arenas, if they want to make pve and pvp seperate like they said was the reason for PR then how about stop being lazy fucks and make different models for pvp and pve gear.
Just like S4 gear ( i hope they neva confirm that S4 pally gear look THAT ugly. /wowquit)
2k rating requirement is good.
There arent many nerds who can get 2200.
they might want to make the weapon 1950 but shoulders ratings are just fine.
Making the change would only upset the pvpers (lower rating ones) they worked hard on S3 gear in hope to get good ratings and gear in S4. ( or they worked hard earning money to pay for arean pts. whichever).
But the ones who really worked on it will always > the one who buy the ratings to get their weapon/ shoulders.
There is no place for both categories of players. Certain change will always upset one side, or another, and surely a compensation is not possible from what we have seen so far, and not having thousands of people crying their eyes out how they can't get their gear in a easy way. Blah blabla..

Making it 2.2k rating would make it harder to get the shoulders ofc,but it really is affecting the non-walkthrough classes like rogue/warrior/druid/warlock.
I think it is too high,just because of the fact that it would make it unfair against some classes that have problems even getting over 2k with the right setup and right players.
Incase you wondered,i play a warlock.
Its just druids and warriors that got easymode up to 2200. nerf that fuckin combo so other combo can come up as well, it seems u gotta be a warrior, druid or rogue theese days.
f.e. priest's shield couldn't be dispelled and it would hold a bit more damage, or having a bigger percent on stun/fear -resist..
That'd be nice. Also some more dots for the spriest would rock.. Or raising the dps of mflay.. Much needed after so much improved gear, imo..
Though, this is just my opinion.. And I admit that I'm quite new to the game.
its logical that weapon would be 2nd best after SP drop and should be hard to get , and shoulders wont give that big "gap" with 2 season which weapon is giving
I'm for such a restriction on weapons, but i can understand why blizz puts the highest restriction on the shoulders. It's a non-hideable item which is noticable by everyone and on everyone (unlike others items such as pants/chest/gloves etc etc)
This will not affect win traders and sellers, it will affect the prices only.
This will not affect 2k-2.2k rating players.
So overall this change will be very very bad since it will pwn normal players who don't sell/buy ratings.
People who put a lot of time and effort into raiding will get sunwell gear etc. The others who don't raid day and night, won't get sunwell gear for a while. It's the exact same thing.
