Blizzards child and the worlds most popular MMO game, World of Warcraft, has set another huge milestone, this time it's one million simultaneous online players in China. This super addictive and at the same time awesome game doesn't know where to stop growing and after breaking the peak of ten million subscribers a while ago, the game clinched a new record for itself in the Chinese market.
The9, the publisher of World of Warcraft in China, has revealed their current statistics in whom a generous number of one million "wow'crafters" are playing the game at the same time on a regular, daily basis.
The reason for the growing numbers is none other than the always updating in-game content, which not only attracts new players but also drags the old players back in the game. And of course it is logical to say that these numbers will keep on growing with Blizzard's next expansion - The Wrath of The Lich King.

it still doesnt beat the "shocking news" when a chinese guild downed illidan in like, month after TBC release?
also when some of them can only play 5hrs a day max by the new law that restricts online game play time.

i think being silent is the best way, isn't it?
maly, "just" 1.3 billion people (1,321,851,888 as of mid-2007).. 1 million playing at the same time is not that much, ~0,075% :p

that's a 130 million a month :B for blizzard only for the monthly payments ;p

It does not count EVERYONE who play wow in China even they are on foreign servers.

they have got like a mod or whateva you call them to cheat. they can fly thru instances ect such like DM and gets the chest or something . what they need 2 do is check it every 30mins and check if it has made 1000gold yet.
