ImageNinjas in Pyjamas and are the selected two for the opening of this brand new CS:GO tournament.

The organizers of the successful Electronic Sports European Championship competition, E-Frag announced new series of weekly tournaments. The CS:GO Legends Series will feature each week two top teams battling for $1,000 in a best-of-five match.

The Swedish giant SE Ninjas in Pyjamas and the Polish pride PL were invited for the first edition of this online competition.

Both teams are definitely on fire, as SE Emil 'HeatoN' Christensen's team won the third community-funded $250,000 major tournament, while the Poles conquered the Gfinity 3 event in London. An awesome outcome is guaranteed.

The tournament will be using Valve's standard map pool, which means we might see Cobblestone and Overpass once again. The match will start in two hours and twenty minutes and will be streamed directly by E-Frag. The winner of this match will proceed forward to the next edition.

September 1st - Monday

18:00 CET – SE Ninjas in Pyjamas vs. PL – Bo5

Analysis will be made by the Senior eSports Content Creator of onGamers and famous Counter-Strike expert and historian UK Duncan 'Thorin' Shields.

Stay tuned to SK Gaming for the coverage of the first edition of CS:GO Legends Series.
