After a catastrophic DTS Cup in Ukraine, Excello player Tino "tih0p" Puumala left the organization to jump into Team Roccat. Team Roccat now features three players from the legendary Finnish team Astralis, so Puumala got a great chance as he itself put it. Unfortunately this puts Puumala's former team Excello down to four players.


"After so many fails in the past tournaments with Excello," said tih0p. "I lacked motivation and I even thought about retiring CS, but then I got this opportunity to play with my old teammates from Astralis: contE and ruuit. Ever since they left Astralis I've wanted to play with them. I've also played a lot of mixes with naSu and lurppis, and I enjoy their playing style as well. I'm very happy to be part of Team Roccat."

Tomi "lurppis" Kovanen explained that the replacement was needed, because the team has not been able to perform at their normal level at the recent tournaments. That made Team Roccat to replace Samu "plastE" Aalto with Excello's Tino "tihOp" Puumala.

"We weighed our options and figured this was the way to go if we wanted to get back to the top and I think that's exactly what we'll do once we get our game going with tihOp."
