A full season of Moscow's ASUS Cup tournament was announced comprised of four two-legged tournaments in May, July and August, November and February 2009 for WC3, SC, DotA, Q3, FIFA08, and CS 1.6.Each of the ASUS Cups will have a prize purse of around $42,600 (totaling at roughly $170,000 for the entire year) and will run over two weekends. The first weekend will hold Warcraft 3, StarCraft, DotA, Quake 3 and FIFA 2008, while the other will have Counter-Strike 1.6. Splitting the tournament allows the organisers to better handle the player load at the event.
The upcoming ASUS Cup will take place on May 17-18 and May 24-25. The CS 1.6 tournaments get over half of the total prize money allocated for each ASUS Cup. The prize purse structure is as follows:
First weekend:

Quake 3 1v1 (64 gamers): ~$2,130

Starcraft: Bw 1v1 Open (64 gamers): $2,130
Warcraft 3 TFT 1v1 Open (64 gamers): $2,130
Second weekend:
