After being closed down due to sponsors leaving and re-opened with a not so successful Norwegian team which closed down shortly after, ID Gaming is now back again. Returning with their old leadership but new teams for Counter-Strike 1.6 and FIFA 2008. Both teams are German and participate in the ESL Pro Series.

For Counter-Strike they recruited ESC Gaming which are currently ranked 11th in the running ESL Pro Series Season XII winning against the champion Team Alternate. The FIFA team isn't as successful being 16th out of 16th in the EPS winning only one match so far. No sponsors have been revealed yet but it will be interesting to see how long it lasts now.

Looking at the past and statements of several former players, there were a lot of false promises, not paid money which still isn't paid until now but ID Gaming will try to do it better this time. Below you can see the lineups of both squads:
