As SK.DotA does not compete in all the tournaments, and we don't cover all the events out there - here comes a minor update on what happens in the competitive DotA scene worldwide.
First of all we want you to know that SK covers the following events with both results and replays for you:
1. DotA League Pickleague Division #1
2. DotA Ballers League Playoffs
3. Europe North America DotA Championship
SK.DotA is playing in every tournament of these three, and till now we are on a winning spree.

Beside those events, competitive DotA is also famous in Asia - and as an eSport is growing fast in Thailand. DotA was also played at the Bangkok Interactive Game Festival 2008. Team Zenith, XcN.Trilogy and Kingsurf.Razer were competing, and Kingsurf managed to take home the trophy.
The replays can be found here. If you are a bit into the competitive scene you will find out that both teams didn't even try to take the advantage of pretty strong heroes.
Much closer to Europe, some of the world's best teams met at a Ukrainian LAN event at Dnepropetrovsk. Virtus.Pro, Wolker-Gaming, Excello and chatrix were fighting for more than €2,000 total prize money.
In an exciting final, Wolker-Gaming managed to beat Virtus.Pro 2:0, but as Virtus.Pro didn't play with the best lineup - LightOfHeaven and NS were missing - you cannot take these games as an indicator for further tournaments. Check out the replays here (game #1) and here (game #2).
Virtus.Pro tried to play with an Lord of Avernus in their lineup, if you like to see how this not so common hero works in high skilled competitive play - watch the replay.
Team Xero Skill (XsK) had to face Virtus.Pro in the HTGN Playoffs last week, and after three amazing matches Virtus.Pro will face the SK.DotA squad in the close future. Replays from the lower bracket finales can be found here: #1 #2 #3
For those of you who prefer interviews and articles over watching replays: MYM did an interview with Maelk, one of their teams best players. Read it here if you like.
