The third playday of NGL Season 5 moves on with the second placed and third placed finalists last season going head to head.SK Gaming made up ground against PGS Gaming last playday after giving mTw a default win in the opening match this season. Boosted with another all-kill by Seo Woo "ReiGn" Kang, SK Gaming ascended to the fifth place together with the title holder Meet Your Makers who were hit by a shocker after losing to hoorai yesterday.
Mousesports are one of the only two teams who have yet to suffer defeat so far. A happy all-kill by Dmitriy "Happy" Kostin against DELTAeSPORTS uplifted them to the second place with one point away from Gravitas Gaming who have won three out of three matches.
SK Gaming won the last NGL match against Mousesports at the NGL Season 4 Finals with the score of 4-2. However, they missed Weiliang "Fly100%" Lu who has always been supreme in NGL in that match. The Chinese Orc player had to sit out the offline final due to visa problem. WIth him back in the line-up, Mousesports are definitely not the team to take lightly for SK Gaming.
Here are the statements of the managers:
Min-Sik "reis" Ko ~ SK Gaming:
Hi,
just finished the last wc3l match and now we got time to focus on ngl one. mouz is always a tough opponent and its always a close war. Last online season we managed to win by using our joker but maybe this war we wont be that lucky. we gonna give our best!
so long, reis
good luck mouz.
Hendrik " Gnollmann" Heime ~ Mousesports:
Our match at the 2nd playday will be against SK-Gaming.
There is no doubt that they are one of the best wc3-teams of the world, maybe even the best.
We are the underdogs in this clanwar but we will do our best to win it...somehow. Our history against SK is pretty bad, so we wanna break this bad streak.
It will be for sure some close and exciting games we can all look forward to.
gl hf SK!
The match will kick off at 17:00 CET with the first map being Echo Isles. You can follow the match via our SK Gaming vs Mousesports Coverage Item.
