ImageSK Gaming finished 5-8th after a loss against Hellraisers in the quarter-finals.

SE Emil 'HeatoN' Christensen's SE Ninjas in Pyjamas won DreamHack Summer 2014 tournament after defeating the Ukrainian team UA Natus Vincere in the grand final.

Ninjas in Pyjamas returned as champions from the previous year and had to overcome several tough teams such as FR Titan eSports with FR Kenny 'kennyS' Schrub on board, FR Richard 'shox' Papillon's FR Epsilon e-Sports and the CIS-based team UA HellRaisers .

On the other hand, our Counter-Strike squad finished 5-8th after being unable to outmatch Hellraisers in the quarter finals of DreamHack Summer 2014 in Jönköping, Sweden. The match was set in best-of-three single elimination format and the first map was SK Gaming's strongest de_inferno. Unfortunately we started on the weaker side and failed to secure the all important pistol round, as the Ukrainian in-game leader UA Kiril 'ANGE1' Karasiow managed to sweep bombsite B with four kills in the end. ANGE1 scored the third round as well with once again four frags with M4A1-S. SK Gaming managed to infiltrate bombsite A and plant the bomb, but failed to prevent the retake and lost the first gun round, thanks to UA Yegor 'markeloff' Markelov and ANGE1. Our squad captain BA Faruk 'pita' Pita managed to take down three opponents during the fifth round, but unluckily failed to clutch one-on-two situation in the end. UA Emil 'kucher' Akhundov won the seventh round by taking down four enemies. Hellraisers won total of eight rounds in a row with solid defence and great individual performance. SE Fredrik 'roque' Honak and SE Alexander 'SKYTTEN' Carlsson scored the first round for SK Gaming by clutching two-on-one situation during the ninth round. RU Mihail 'Dosia' Stolyarov won a critical round in style by sneaking in smoke and knifing pita and SKYTTEN in bombsite A. Dosia scored one more round for Hellraisers, as he managed to shoot down four opponents with auto sniper. Hellraisers won the last round of the first half having Dosia scoring one more knife frag in apartments, this time on roque.

The second half was significantly better for our team. SK Gaming won the pistol round in a close two-on-two situation and as well as scored the followed round flawlessly. Hellraisers won the first gun round of the second half and secured themselves map point. SK Gaming survived the next round by winning a crucial situation, forcing Hellraisers to eco. We secured the next round as well, thanks to roque's three beautiful kills denying the CIS-based team to penetrate bombsite B. SE Joel 'emilio' Mako occurred with three instant frags sending Hellraisers to rough economic situation once again. Hellraisers decided to send four players rushing from CT long to bombsite A and managed to infiltrate and plant the bomb, but pita and roque were able to save SK Gaming one more time. Unfortunately the CIS-based team Hellraisers had an extreme lead from the first half and managed to score the needed last round to win the first map.

The second map was de_nuke and SK Gaming managed to win the knife round and started on the heavily favored CT side. Hellraisers won the pistol round, thanks to the former Na'Vi player markeloff scoring three kills allowing his teammates to conquer bombsite A. Hellraisers won the next two rounds as expected. The CIS-based super team managed to once again capture bombsite A, but this time SK Gaming was able to retake and win the first gun round. SE Mikail 'Maikelele' Bill shot down four opponents and allowed SK Gaming to take the next two rounds. KZ Dauren 'AdreN' Kystaubayev and ANGE1 won an important gun round and took the lead again. Hellraisers won the followed two rounds, until maikel came around and won an extremely close one-on-one situation against Dosia during the tenth round. Unfortunately the CIS-based squad managed to recover and scored the next three rounds. The fourteenth round went to our division and as well as the last round of the first half, thanks to SKYTTEN and pita.

The second half seemed promising for our Counter-Strike team, as we managed to win the pistol round. The team captain pita won the next round with three more frags in the scoreboard. Dosia shut down three opponents and won the nineteenth round flawlessly, denying SK Gaming to take lead. However, SK Gaming managed to win the followed round in result leaving the CIS-based team without much resources to work with. Despite the rough start Hellraisers managed to win the next round. SK Gaming decided to rush from outside to lower bombsite, but lost the round in the end as emilio was unable to clutch one-on-two situation due to timeout. ANGE1 secured match point by taking down four enemies during the followed round. SK Gaming survived one more round by clutching a close round, but during the next round we witnessed markeloff opening bombsite A by scoring down three helping his team to win the second map and the match overall in a three-on-one situation against the low on health maikel in the end. Hellraisers won the match and proceeded to the semi-finals to meet Ninjas in Pyjamas.
