HR wins DTS-Cup, excello & roccat eliminated in Groupstage
The DTS-Cup 2008 took place this weekend at Dnetropetrovsk, Ukraine with several top teams attending. Excello and roccat were eliminated in the group stage already while HR won the event in the end.

The DTS-Cup 2008 took place this weekend at Dnetropetrovsk, Ukraine with several top teams attending. Excello and roccat were eliminated in the group stage already while HR won the event in the end.
The DTS-Cup 2008 just finished with a more or less surprising result. The event took place in Dnetropetrovsk, Ukraine with two Finnish and also one German team attending together with Ukranian and Russian teams.
Roccat were probably the favorites together with A-Gaming and EYESports for people not being too much into the Eastern scene. Unfortunately, roccat were already eliminated in the group stage losing to all of their opponents as well as excello not winning a single match. Hoorai on the other side surprised by playing some strong matches only losing to pro100 in a close match.
Roccat also lost to the later event winner HR in the third overtime on the second map during the playoffs. HR were the surprising team here as they're not that known to people outside of Ukraina but they took down everyone up to the Grand Final. In the Grand Final they met EYESports and lost the first map but won the second in overtime and then cemented their win in the third and final map.
HellRaisers also won KODE5 Ukraine not so long ago and will now have a chance to compete with the best teams in KODE5 Global finals in Moscow in the beginning of May.
Final Standings
1st - HellRaisers (~$3.000)
2nd - EYESports (~$1.600)
3rd - A-Gaming (~$1.000)
4th - 88-Gaming (~$700)

Hell Raisers are making a name for themselves right now and apparently were ranked 10th in the ukraine.

Roccat, however, at least showed some decent performance and had quite intense matches with HR and EYESports - notice these two teams met each other in the grand final. I didn't watch the match on my own but it seems that they didn't play seriously against Turbo (which is very lame in my opinion, but an excuse for losing).
hoorai played okay... they seemed confident in the group stage despite losing to pro100. Against HR, they just didn't seem to play well and looked uncoordinated. But the result should make it obvious that hoorai's performance was not disappointing, although they could have done much better.
look at them play with 88gaming dust2, u could see. these 2 clan are not on the same level.88 got good aim,maybe a little better,but played a really old style,and played like a mix. HR control the whole game all the time.they know what 88 wanna do, know where r they,when they wanna start to attack ,
