CoD4 Experiences a 25.000 € tournament
In the recent I-series the world was "shocked" by their Call of Duty 4 prize purse as it was the highest so far, but now the Danish LAN event, The Experience, have double this amount at €25,000.

In the recent I-series the world was "shocked" by their Call of Duty 4 prize purse as it was the highest so far, but now the Danish LAN event, The Experience, have double this amount at €25,000.The organisers behind the Danish esport event, Roskilde, have decided (link via Tek9) that it is time to push Call of Duty 4 to another level and attract not only one North American team like the I-series did, but possibly more International teams outside the European/NA territories.
The event will take place in Roskilde, Denmark on July 31 - August 2 with Call of Duty 4 and FIFA 2008, which will have a prize purse of €3,000, whereas the Counter-Strike: Source tournament will be played in the period of July 24 and July 26 with only €12,500 to be won.
The ticket sale will be open on April 21 and the basic ticket price for Call of Duty 4 will be €500 for 5 players and 2 staff members.
