ImageA British study reveals that people who play violent videogames feel not angry, but more relaxed after playing session.

Middlesex University's student Jane Barnett tested 292 Male and Female gamers who played World of Warcraft during the experiment. According to Next Generation's post, the gamers aged between 12 - 83 felt calmness and tiredness after the playing session. Barnett, also a member of International Game Developers Association committee, noted that there were some differences on sex, age and personality scale.

"There were actually higher levels of relaxation before and after playing the game."
"There were actually higher levels of relaxation before and after playing the game as opposed to experiencing anger but this did very much depend on personality type," she said.

"This will help us to develop an emotion and gaming questionnaire to help distinguish the type of gamer who is likely to transfer their online aggression into everyday life."
