ZoneRank Updates for April
Some tournaments have been played in March and ZoneRank now have updated their rankings again. The rankings for both Counter-Strike and Warcraft III have changed a bit.

Some tournaments have been played in March and ZoneRank now have updated their rankings again. The rankings for both Counter-Strike and Warcraft III have changed a bit.Being April 1st, ZoneRank have updated their rankings again with some teams and players swapping places. ZoneRank is considered the official ranking for the G7 and various teams being part of the organisation. The ESL Extreme Masters and SEC 2008 are part of the update for this month as the events took place in March.
For Warcraft III, Lyn is now fourth while Creolophus is still fifth, being inactive. Lucifer gained two spots being eight now instead of 10th and also HoT coming from 12th rank now is 10th. In Counter-Strike, mousesports got a big boost from 14th to fifth by winning the ESL Extreme Masters. Also emuLate lost a spot as well as NiP-Gaming dropping out of the top ten now.

"ah seems ppl will never understand this ranking, every1 keeps asking the same questions every month... its a management ranking ... so if a management (PGS, NiP,...) changes their cs team or disbands it they don't lose the points, but they obviously don't gain any (unless they get a new team).
NiP earned a lot of points in 2006 what made them stay on the ladder for a long time after they stopped playing. The same thing will be happening with PGS now.
So it's not monthly rankings, rather "all time" or since zonerank started if you will.
And teams lose points during time if they go inactive (A month after the team\player receive their points, they will start losing points monthly in an downwise exponential function (e^-x) where X stands as the passed years.)"
