The cup will start after the first qualifier that is held on Sunday the 16th March and #dignitas.cup (QuakeNet) will be the official channel. Signups for the first qualifier close at 22.00cet on Thursday 13th March and the brackets with match times will be posted shortly after on Team Dignitas's website.

After finishing the qualifiers with great success, Jannik "Era" Huber and Joshua 'Kr0ne' Begehr took a piece of their spare time and gave some statements:

SK|Era: "I am very satisfied, that I was able to finish this qualifier successfully, since it is a really cool tournament. But I have to admit, that there weren't really any tough opponents in my bracket, what actually didn't make my way, because the connection to each player wasn't that well, so after all those matches weren't that easy to win, but I think I played very well in the end and made my way through the qualifier.
In the main tournament, my goal is of course to reach the finals, but until then there will be hard way to go and I have to practice a lot, like I did in the last weeks. If I should play like I did in the past days, I see a big chance for me to win this tournament."

SK|Kr0ne: "I'm very glad to attend the dignitas final competition and that I have been successful in the qualification tournament. It is always a nice motivation to win many games in a row, which is necessary for winning a cup like that. Many players from all over the world competed today, so the connections weren't the best, but won't be in the final as well. But I advanced to the main tournament and will try my best to get as far as possible."
