Despite participating the Global FInal as the lowest ranked player from European qualifier, WhO swept his path to the overall final with three clean sheets against Martin "apm" Sanfacon, Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen and Hyo Sub "FoCuS" Eom in the upper bracket.

During WhO's five-hour-long wait, the American Human player SonKiE amazed all the spectators today. Losing in the first round, SonKiE surprisingly surpassed Grubby, Hyeong Ju "Check" Lee and FoCuS in the lower bracket. He lost the first game in the best of three format match twice against the Korean duo, however he managed to comeback at last.

Once again he was one game down in the overall final against WhO, but he equalized the match in the second game on Echo Isles. While many were expecting him to repeat the same comeback, WhO did not let the same thing happen to him as he killed the final off with the third game victory.
