Just a few minutes ago the Grand Final at DreamHack Skellefteå finished with SK Sweden being the winner. They defeated Made in Brazil on two maps with clear scores, even though the match itself wasn't as clear as the scores show.

The first ESWC Sweden Pre-Qualifier was being held this weekend at the DreamHack Skellefteå where four top teams were invited being SK Sweden, Made in Brazil, PlayZone and Begrip while another four teams were able to qualify through a BYOC tournament. It started with a group stage having two groups with each four teams which the four invited teams clearly dominated as expected.

Going into the Single Elimination, PlayZone put up a great fight against Made in Brazil on de_train losing 14-16 while SK Gaming kept dominating with a 16-5 over Begrip. With SK being the only Swedish team left in the Upper Bracket they already received their spot for the ESWC Sweden National Finals taking place at the DreamHack Summer in a few months.

PlayZone continued to play a great tournament winning against Begrip on two great maps and placing third in the end. The Grand Final just finished a few minutes ago where again SK Gaming was winning convincingly even though mibr played good but not good enough today. This means SK Sweden is placing first with their old lineup having SpawN back in the team and are now looking forward to the ESWC Sweden National Finals.
