The match was the quarter-finals of the NSL Season II and maintains ReMinD's unbeaten run in the tournament so far.
However, being matched up against Moon did not phase ReMinD: "Well when I was to face against moon I was just said ok let me play," states ReminD, "of course Moon is the best player in the world but it is a mirror match up where nobody knows who will win".
ReMinD has been in the scene a long time and has faced Moon many times in various tournaments, "I guess my record against him is 50%, I used to beat him more through 2006-2007 and lose to him more through 2007-2008."
The match was a best of 3 with the first map being 2 player map Terenas Stand with ReMinD taking a risk which paid off. "First game on TS I used a risky strategy creeping with 2 Ancients of War to take an expansion, fortunately it worked out well since he failed to stop my expo," now with a gold advantage ReMinD was in a good position.
"Moon then made mass bears and I made a lot of talons and then switched to bears," however the definitive moment in ReMinD's eyes was the taking down of Moon's expansion. "I think taking down his expo with that sapper finished the game."
The second game was on Twisted Meadows with ReMinD going for a more standard AoW creep on the goblin labatory whilst Moon decided to change his strategy. "He took a different strategy making mass hunts with 2aow instead of going tier2," explains ReMinD, "I lost many archers against his hunts but I killed his Demon twice at important times and forced him to go back to his main."
Successfully completing his tech to bears ReMinD was able to finish off the game: "When I got mass bear later it made me able to win the game easily but I think 2nd game was a great game."
With Moon's shape being under scrutiny does ReMinD still consider him his biggest rival?
"Yes, I would say he is and I still have so much respect for him."

ReMinD's next match is on April 4 in Beijing, China, against Xiaofeng "Sky" Li of World Elite who he defeated 2-1 in the group stage earlier in the competition. When asked if he is ready for Sky, Remind replies: "Ha, my human match up is messed up I don't know what to do but hope I can beat him."

Yeah your right, I saw it as ReMinD talking about Moon's victory not ReMinD talking about his victory over Moon. Glad ReMinD won though.
