bit of a weird rule :D
stupid moose country
Wow
looking forward to the start of the practise weeks, good thing i moved to a country where i AM allowed to play.
Anyways, it's fine if you ask me. Every little bit that helps increasing the 'skill cap' is very welcome.
"Canadian residents are not required to pay an Entry Fee in order to enter. Instead, Canadian residents may enter by submitting a 250 word typewritten essay..."
I think it was 3rd page or so where someone explained the law.
ReloX resist irony
if you look at ladders since start of season1 on Cyclone, you'll notice that players from denmark, holland and balkan have been dominating... geez... golfclap guys.
Same goes for macros really. I'd prefer to have them all gone.
And thanks trance for updating it with the EU stuff, registered now. :>
just JOKING!!
(not that im hardcore arena but still .... its always like that with blizz)
seems stupid that they only allow 12 countries in the tournament. Can't really call it a world championship if you exclude many countries
So, Blizzard could have removed the entry fee, but lost out on lots of cash. I guess it just shows what they prefer the most... $_$
Anyway, these country restrictions are pretty bad for the competition, however its not Blizzards fault its the countries laws against gambling.
And Tegan: the size of a country isnt important, The netherlands has the rule that only Holland Casino is allowed to have gambling going on, meaning ALL others are not. (Also the reason why EuroMillions e.g. isnt available for the Dutchies)
