ImageTogether with the Gamers Assembly and the ESL Pro Series France Finals, the KODE5 France took place in Poitiers with only four teams being invited. Mousesports managed to take down both atlanteam and dimension4 securing a spot for the KODE5 Grand Finals.

Another KODE5 qualifier was held this weekend and this time it was in France. Four teams were invited where one team had already cancelled it's participation before the actual tournament started. Defining stars from Portugal were not able to attend due to private reasons for one of the players. Atlanteam which were there for the Gamers Assembly got asked to play and they accepted.

The whole event was more of a disaster and bad organisation with several delays and a bad online coverage. The first match between aAa and d4 was scheduled to start at 12:30 CET and also should've been broadcasted by KODE5 partner GameSports.de which never happened. It was delayed hour after hour due to computer and network problems and also the other tournaments. In the end, they just started at 17:00 CET without HLTV and VideoStream but managed to get up a bot then.

Later that day, mousesports was scheduled to play atLanteam at 23:45 CET also being broadcast by GameSports.de which returned with the hope that all the problems may be fixed by now. In fact they were not, also this game was delayed due to the other tournament. Then suddenly the match was already started without HLTV, Scorebot and Video Stream when mousesports led by 11-4 already. For the second half, a score bot was up but no HLTV and Video Stream again. Shortly after mousesports won the first map, atLanteam forfeited the second map because they wanted to get some sleep for the more important EPS Finals.

Also the Grand Final was scheduled to be played on Sunday at 20:00 CET which again, delayed for several hours until it finally started WITH HLTV, Score bot and Videostream. At least one match was enjoyable for the viewers, which was a pretty good one between mousesports and dimension4.

Mousesports started out well with 12:3 on de_inferno as first map but dimension4 had a great comeback and dominated mousesports in the first rounds until they got their four rounds winning with a very close 16:14 on the first map already.

The second map was de_dust2 which looked like an easy one for mousesports getting 8 CT-Rounds in the first half but again, dimension4 showed that they're not to be underestimated and got 5 rounds until mousesports defeated them with 16:12.

This means mousesports is now qualified for the KODE5 Global Finals later this year.
