Dignitas only needed to win one map to become champions once again, but it took two maps for them to accomplish this. Both maps turned out to be extremely close and on both the winner was decided in overtime.

The first map was mp_crash and after the first half it seemed that dignitas would take the win but after the second half, the game was a 12-12 tie. Eventually the map ended in favour of TLR with a 16-14 score.

Moving on to dignitas' map pick, which turned out to be mp_citystreets, TLR seemed to call the shots and as the teams were switching sides the score on the board was 10-2 for TLR. But everything changed with the sides as the British team were unable to get the necessary three rounds to secure their victory.

TLR only managed to gain two rounds while dignitas got ten and it was again time for overtime. Ironicly the second map also ended 16-14 but this time the winner was team-dignitas, who were thus crowned champions. Match details can be found here.

The team that most of the people were watching was Evil Geniuses from Northern America and they did a good job. Kicking TEK9 and fnatic out of the tournament wasn't an easy task to do and they can be really happy with the 1,500€ they got from finishing 3rd.
