Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund has been released from SK Gaming and is free to join any team that he pleases.

Both the team and the player agreed that at this stage of the young Swede's career it was best for the player to allow him to compete on a consistent basis.

"I think I have become a better player overall," says GeT_RiGhT, "but I only improved when I was playing, not when being a backup player."

One of the most promising Counter-Strike players in the world, GeT_RiGhT has been very close to the starting lineup of SK.swe for a very long time. A couple of weeks ago, he replaced Abdisamad "SpawN" Mohamed for the Extreme Masters II tournament and made a great contribution towards the team's fourth place.

It was the age difference between GeT_RiGhT and the rest of the team that put him on the sideline again. With SpawN back on the roster, it was only fair to the budding player to allow him to choose his own future.

"I will continue playing Counter-Strike and hopefully with some guys that I will stay more than two weeks in a lineup with," says the young Swede. "I would like to say to everyone that you should not say that SK did a bad mistake or something like that. They are really nice to everyone and they didn't handle me badly.

"There have been some up and downs," he continues. "I have been a standin for MYM for two months or so. But I have always been loyal to SK."

SK Gaming thanks Christopher for everything he did for the team and wishes the best of luck to him wherever he goes to.
