SK Gaming's Seo Woo "ReiGn" Kang and June "Lyn" Park ruled in Africa's Warcraft III League Season's III offline final and collected bronze and gold medal respectively. The AWL Season III Grand Final commenced at 20:00 KST as the title holder crossed swords with Sung Hyun "Space" Park.
The 18-year-old, who recently became part of Fnatic.wc3's renaissance together with Clan Go as well as his close friends Chul Woo "Shy" Park and Hyo Sub "FoCuS" Eom from Meet Your Makers, had a handful of chances to change the outcome of the Grand Final. He managed to dispose of Lyn the last time the two encountered and eliminated the latter from AWL Season I in the quarter-final. It was also the last time Lyn bit the dust against Undead.
However, despite of training hard for this clash all day long for a week, Space failed to claim a single game from the defending champion in the best of five format match. Lyn added another title to his achievement after winning Extreme Masters Season II two weeks ago.
In the consolation final, ReiGn went through five thrilling games against Cho Dae "FoV" Hee from Beijing E-Sports Team and received his first medal in years.
1st place: SK.Lyn €3,800
2nd place: Fnatic.Space €1,900
3rd place: SK.ReiGn €600
