Top four finishers from each qualifier will win berths to the offline final. The offline final will feature a total of 32 Warcraft III players and 32 StarCraft players, including both qualifiers and invitees.

To the delight of participants, the PGL committee raised the total prize pursue for both Warcraft III and StarCraft from around $19,000 last season to around $27,000 with the first prize as much as $11,000. The total prize pursue for DotA will be around $3,000.

The third season will start on April 1 with the commencement of the first Chinese qualifier, while the offline final will take place between May 22 and June 1.
