Gamers paradise. One of the largest gaming related events in the world, Assembly Winter 2008 is taking place between 22nd - 24th March 2008. Means that the event starts on this Saturday, and ends on Monday. The most impetuous game men and women celebrating the Easter in Tampere, Finland at the Tampere Exhibition and Sport Center.

The event is bulging of interesting gaming tournaments, where the best tests their skills against other skilled gamers. Professional section features Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike: Source and Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne tournaments, where the finest Finnish teams and players battle out for the gold and glory. Console fans have possibilities participating to Dead or Alive 4 or Project Gotham Racing tournaments.
