After a few weeks of the new season, SK Gaming have conquered the notorious battlegroup 9, which is considered as one of the hardest battlegroups worldwide.Neilyo have been playing with the two different SK teams troughout the season, and today he took the 1st place in the Bloodlust battlegroup together with Gumbot and Pronne. Running a rogue/warlock/druid setup nowdays isn't easy with so much double melee teams which is a hard counter-setup against warlock teams in 3vs3.
We caught up with the SK Druid Pronne, for a few questions.
You guys just took the 1st place in bg9 with the somewhat "outdated" rogue/lock/druid setup, how do find it playing that setup nowdays with so much double melee teams?
It's still a very strong set-up in my opinion. The double melee that has filled the threes bracket and along with the fives bracket has plagued warlocks. Almost making it impossible for them to not be killed. Other then the double melee teams it seems to have a decent advantage against every comp other than, I'd say, Shaman/Druid/Warrior.
What advice would you give to other warlock teams when playing against double melee teams, especially warr/rogue/druid?
Can't really give any advice except to probably lose. If the other team is equally skilled it's almost impossible to come out with a win. Sometimes you can but you will not win majority of the time.
Do you guys always use Shadowstep, SL/SL and Swiftmend specs, or have you tried playing around with maybe felguard or dreamstate?
It's always SL/SL for gumbot and majority of the time Swiftmend for me. We have tried out a little bit of dreamstate but if you run into a good priest team its hard to catch back up on healing when everythings getting dispelled off. Also in season 2, Mutilate was a huge success with Rog/Dru/Lock and I feel will be the strongest spec to come in 2.4 for a rogue.
