They've gone by many names in recent times from x6tence to redcode.Xfi but 10 years after it was first created the female team of BadGirls returns into the fray once more. The all Spanish team has already started to pick up steam taking 1st place at the Ciberline LAN as well as winning the spanish qualifier for the ESL Major Series which has just started.
Team-leader aNouC has had her fair share of experience competing four years in a row in the Electronic Sports World Cup Counter-Strike ladies tournament including 1st place at ESWC with SK Ladies.
The line-up for the team is an all Spanish one and is as follows:
aNouC
Lena
iRene
Bady
sNDr
aNouC was the founder of the very first SK Gaming Counter-Strike ladies squad and the former Quake3 player took some time to answer a couple of questions:
Malystryx: Why did you decide to go back to BadGirls?
aNouC: We got back to badGirls because we just needed a name to say ·we are back!· and we went to the LAN event as oldschool just for the fun and to meet up again after some time... there we had time to talk about our future plans and from that point everything happened for a reason, playing together again and since most of us got to know at badGirls, we thought it was a good way to re-appear as a team, at least for now!
Malystryx: Since many of your line-up have been inactive for some time, what do you hope to achieve, a top 8 for ESWC perhaps?
aNouC: We haven't been inactive at all, we just took a break and done different things. Actually iRene played in another team and the rest been playing with boys and mixing up with friends till now. Playing together again is not that hard for us, we are actually used to each other and I don't think it takes that long to get back some teamplay (I hope at least!).
And of course we always want to try to do the best on whatever we participate. That's why people compete, to win, not just to aim for a top 8.So of course, we will try our best :) !
