After a disappointing EPS Season XI Finals and NGL One Finals, mousesports finally win their first big tournament after a long time. They pretty much dominated most of their opponents and also managed to win two maps in the Grand Final against e-STRO.
No one expected mousesports to come out this big which started in the group stage already with beating all of the other teams. Beating first fnatic and then roccat which they lost to at the NGL One Finals already, motivated the team again. Then finishing their group beating MiBr and SoA advancing to the Double Elimination playoffs where they met Team Alternate. The only match they lost in the tournament against their biggest contender.
Today they managed to win against SK Gaming in a great match on de_nuke, winning a Deagle-Eco at a score of 14:14 and finishing off SK with 16:14. Again they were facing Team Alternate but dominated them and getting their revenge on de_nuke. Now being in the Grand Final, mousesports were pumped up but had to win two maps in order to defeat e-STRO from Korea.
Starting out great on de_dust2, mousesports again dominated getting 10 rounds as Counter-Terrorist in the first half and winning 16:8 in the end. The second map was de_cbble which favors mousesports being a German team still playing the map in the ESL Pro Series for years. This was clearly seen in the match on de_cbble as they won 9 rounds on the Terrorist side and not letting e-STRO have any chance in the 2nd half winning the $50,000.
1st - mousesports ($50,000)
2nd - e-STRO ($30,000)
3rd - Team Alternate ($15,000)
4th - SK Gaming ($10,000)
5-6th - Roccat ($5,000)
5-6th - SoA ($5,000)
7-8th - fnatic ($2,500)
7-8th - Virtus.Pro ($2,500)
9-10th - Made in Brazil ($1,250)
9-10th - Excello ($1,250)
