The overall final saw two of the most vigorous players in the world going head to head. ToD casted aside a second loss to the same player in the playoff as he defeated the flying Dutchman Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen by the score of 2-1.

Coming from lower bracket, the Frenchman had to stay victorious in two best of three format matches to claim the champion. The final turned out to be one of the most breathtaking series as neither of them manage to prevail the other twice in a row. ToD equalized the total score with a win of the first best of three match and pushed the final into the second set of match.

Although Lyn had the match point after winning the first game on Gnoll Wood, ToD evened the score with a clear win on Echo Isles. The two came to the last game on Lost Temple which brought win to the Frenchman in the first set. Similar to last game on that map, ToD successfully had his expansion running in early stage of the game and set the pace in game.

However, instead of making his own expansion as always, he chose to tower rush ToD's expansion with Demolishers. This extremely aggressive assault averted ToD's plan of enlarging his army. ToD typed gg after seeing both of his heroes dead and the game out of his control.

Lyn clinched the second event champion for Orc since last year and his second champion this year after the AWL's second season.
