The team formerly known as eMazing Gaming and Fear Factor will officially become a part of Team EG March 3rd 2008, representing the EG brand in both online and offline events throughout the world.

The team formerly known as eMazing Gaming and Fear Factor will officially become a part of Team EG March 3rd 2008, representing the EG brand in both online and offline events throughout the world.
The team is currently ranked #1 in North America at GotFrag.com and boasts numerous titles, including a 4th place finish at the WCG 2007 Grand Finals where they represented the USA. Already in 2008, the team has qualified for another chance to represent their country, this time in the KODE5 Grand Finals which will take place on May 10th in Moscow, Russia.
“For almost a year now, I think that the American Counter-Strike community has been craving for a team to call its own and support in international competitions. I believe that this is that team,” said EG Executive Director Alex Garfield. “I was tremendously impressed with this group of players when I watched them in person at WCG, where they took maps and matches from the best teams in the world, and I think that they're a presence which the American CS community can rally behind. We'll be sending them to a number of major international tournaments, in addition to KODE5. I think they're the perfect group of people to represent EG and American Counter-Strike.”
Along with the move to Team EG, Robert ‘Ph0bius’ Irey will also rejoin the team’s starting lineup and take the place of Kevin ‘aZn’ Wang. “We ran into some different problems and haven’t been happy with our recent performances, so we felt as a team that it would be best to abandon the changes that simply weren’t working out and go back to the old lineup that worked,” explained team leader Nazar ‘Steno’ Vynnytsky. “Most importantly, however, we made the move to bring back the chemistry we used to have both inside and outside of the game.”
The team is currently participating in CEVO’s Professional division, the top online league in North America, with a 4-2 record. Tonight at 9:30 PM EST, the team is scheduled to play in GotFrag’s King of The Hill Week VI matchup against LiViD, featuring a cash prize with coverage by GotFrag.com.
