The EA Team Dignitas FIFA08 Challenge will be played online with signups beginning in the next few days and the first qualifier being held on Sunday the 16th March.

Further qualifiers will be held depending on signups with a Grand Final Cup to be hosted in April.

The challenge looks to expand the FIFA community worldwide with prizes being given out to the best players of each "region" (currently unspecified).

The official newspost reads ""We would like to invite players from across the globe to compete as there will be prizes for the top player in each region and some prizes for players at all levels so feel free to take part."

The Challenge has a 2000 euro cash purse as well as a host of prizes up for grabs including "Universal abit Motherboards, 50 copies of EA's Euro 2008, two entry tickets to the Multiplay i34 LAN and 10 fantastic QPAD's."

Dignitas\Istvan had this to say about the upcoming Challenge:

"Team Dignitas FIFA cups have been few and far between, but they have always been of great quality. Now we are ready for the next one and it will be bigger and better than ever. With huge prizes kindly provided by Electronic Arts, Universal abit, Multiplay and QPAD we are looking to break all attendance records when it comes to online FIFA cups!"
