The 64 bit gameservers running under Gentoo gain even more power by the modification, and bring out the best in terms of hard- and software. By working off requestst for the processes running at the host system in real time, it's possible to improve the flow of the game significantly.

Of course gamed!de also put their pants on one leg at a time, however, the new kernels passed the stability tests with flying colors. gamed!de – Gameserver uses all of this power in a controlled manner - by applying the canny and automized load-balancing method, sufficient resources are left at any given time to give each gameserver the power it needs for a regular controlled operation.

For our EPS-gameserver series, which was added last year, this update influences the FPS figures directly: CounterStrike Source now runs at 980-1000 FPS, while at CounterStrike 1.6 you can enjoy a far more consistant 1000 FPS than before. All current EPS customers receive this upgrade for free.
