ImageNinjas in Pyjamas won the Danish event for second year in a row.

But before we move to the grand final, we will review two hot matches from the third day of Copenhagen Games. Starting with the match between the Polish pride PL Virtus.pro and the Swedish team SE LGB eSports in the quarter-finals. The first map was de_nuke, where LGB eSports began on the heavily favored CT side. PL Janusz 'Snax' Pogorzelski arrived with two headshots early in the pistol round, allowing his teammates to break thru the Swedish team's defenses without trouble and win the round flawlessly. The second round went as expected to the Polish team, but surprisingly LGB eSports managed to take the third round on save, having SE Freddy 'KRiMZ' Johansson clutching 1on1 situation against PL Jarosław 'pasha' Jarząbkowski in the end. However the tide turned once again against the Swedish team, as this time the low on health pasha managed to clutch a crucial 1on1 situation and sent LGB eSports on two more eco rounds. PL Filip 'NEO' Kubski boosted his team even further with three frags during a later round. The ex-Lemondogs player SE Isak 'cype' Rydman was absolutely vital for the Swedish side, as he managed to win the sixth round in a close 2on2 situation with three kills in scoreboard and as well scored two headshots during the followed round with M4A1-S. SE Olof 'olofm' Kajbjer and the company tied the scores, but yet the Polish side won the ninth round, thanks to PL Paweł 'byali' Bieliński. The Swedish team managed to secure the next round in a 2on1 situation screwing up Virtus' income, but that seemed to not affect the Polish pride much, as we witnessed them doing a devastating rush towards bombsite A and winning the eleventh round. The final four rounds of the first half were terrible for the Polish team, as first pasha was unable to clutch a 1on3 situation and second byali lost 1on4. LGB eSports won the last round of the first half and started the second half with a round lead.

KRiMZ secured the all important pistol round for the Swedish side by taking down four enemies. Virtus.pro won the first gun round, but LGB eSports managed to plant the bomb for extra cash. The Polish player snax was crucial for Virtus.pro to win two important rounds in a row, as he first managed to clutch a 1on2 situation low on health and during the next to score double kill with a grenade in B ramps and two more with a weapon in the end. LGB eSports managed to win one more round, but was denied during the followed round by the Golden Five duo NEO and pasha. Poland's current best player pasha decided to go for the big green gun and shot down one opponent thru smoke outside and quickly rotated to bombsite B scoring one more. The next round marked the end of all hopes for the Swedish side, as NEO came up with four beautiful frags with M4A4. Virtus.pro conquered the first map.

The second map was de_mirage. Virtus.pro managed to win the knife round and decided to start on the defensive side. LGB eSports won the pistol round, thanks to the former SK Gaming player SE Simon 'twist' Eliasson and KRiMZ. However the third round went to the Polish team, who was on save during it. The Swedish player olofm managed to score three kills, but was unable to clutch 1on3 situation. Virtus.pro continued to add round after round without much resistance. PL Wiktor 'TaZ' Wojtas won a close round for his team with four enemies taken down by him. The Polish pride managed to win eleven rounds in a row, but the fourteenth went to LGB eSports, thanks to twist and KRiMZ. The last round was perfectly executed by the Swedish team, as first we witnessed twist winning an AWP duel versus pasha in middle and kill two more later and then SE Dennis 'dennis' Edman finishing off the Polish team.

Not only that Virtus.pro began the second half with huge lead, but the Polish squad also managed to score the pistol round, thanks to pasha's three kills. LGB eSports decided to play with CZ75-Auto pistols and was on the verge of winning the followed round, but unfortunately was once again denied by pasha. The Swedish rising star twist managed to shoot three enemies with AWP, but was unable to outmatch pasha in a duel and LGB eSports lost yet another round. Despite being on the edge of elimination, the Swedish team managed to win an anti-eco round. Two more vital rounds were won by twist, but TaZ and his troops secured the last needed round and moved one step further to the trophy.

Moving forward to the match between the returning champions SE Ninjas in Pyjamas and DK Team Dignitas in the semi-finals. Starting on de_inferno, DK Andreas 'Xyp9x' Højsleth and his squad wrecked the ninjas during the pistol round. Team Dignitas won the next round flawlessly with heavy middle rush, having DK Nicolai 'device' Reedtz scoring down four enemies in the end. SE Christopher 'GeT_RiGhT' Alesund almost managed to clutch 1on3, but failed to beat the time. The former SK Gaming duo SE Patrik 'f0rest' Lindberg and GeT_RiGhT were once again on the verge of winning a round, but were outmatched by the in-game leader of the Danish team DK Henrik 'FeTiSh' Christensen. Entry kill was taken by device with an AWP, allowing his teammate Xyp9x to destroy the remaining four players thru smoke. Team Dignitas won six rounds in a row against the world's best team in the beginning as CT, but f0rest managed to win the seventh in a tough 1on3 situation. The Danish team secured the followed round in a 4on2 situation against the ex-SK duo, in the end leaving the ninjas in an economic crisis. Another flawless round was won by Team Dignitas versus the eco rounded Ninjas in Pyjamas. SE Richard 'Xizt' Landström won the tenth round by clutching 1on2 situation, but yet again the Danish squad won the next round by successfully retaking bombsite B in a 3on3 situation. Close round was won by SE Adam 'friberg' Friberg, who scored four frags along with a clutch. The thirteenth round went to Team Dignitas, thanks to device's three kills with only a pistol in hands. SE Robin 'Fifflaren' Johansson won the last round of the first half for the legendary Swedish team by taking down four opponents.

Despite the rough start Ninjas in Pyjamas managed to retake bombsite B and win the all important pistol round, but closely. Yet another extremely close round was taken by the Swedish team. Team Dignitas' heavy resistance at bombsite A denied NiP from taking the twentieth round. Excellent play from the Danish player device won them the next round as well with four additional kills in the scoreboard. Ninjas in Pyjamas managed to win a crucial anti-eco round, which allowed them to slowly start winning round after round. NiP secured map point, thanks to f0rest. Luckily, Team Dignitas managed to win the thirtieth round with brutal rush from both banana and CT base and forced overtime. Ninjas in Pyjamas won all the needed four rounds in a row and secured the first map.

The second and last map was de_nuke, where the Swedish giants started on the preferred defensive side. The pistol round went directly to the ninjas, as we witnessed friberg clutching 1on1 situation ending up with three kills in total. Team Dignitas decided to go for an early buy and scared for a moment the Swedish team, but in the end was finished off by Fifflaren. GeT_RiGhT shot down two enemies outside with SCAR-20 in the beginning of the fifth round, giving friberg enough time to reposition himself and take out the remaining three players. The Danish team managed to win the sixth round, thanks to device's solid individual performance. Ninjas in Pyjamas continued to stack rounds and even made a team ace during the ninth. Once again brilliant play from device won Team Dignitas one more round, but friberg and Fifflaren were able to take away the followed one. We rarely see the use of AWP on the offensive side on an unbalanced map such as de_nuke, but the Danish player device one more time proved that it can be quite effective, as he more or less single handedly won the fourteenth round. Ninjas in Pyjamas won the last round of the first half, thanks to friberg.

The pistol round of the second half was pretty interesting, as we witnessed f0rest taking down four enemies and being one shot away from winning it, but unluckily was killed by Xyp9x. The Swedish star f0rest once again scared Team Dignitas with three kills, but yet failed to finish them off. The in-game leader of the Danish squad FeTiSh scored three frags in total clutching 1on2 situation in the end and managed to shoot down two outside with AWP during the followed round. DK Peter 'dupreeh' Rasmussen won an important round for Team Dignitas. Another close round was lost by f0rest, this time a rough 1on3 situation. However during the next round f0rest along with Xizt managed to clutch a close 2on3 situation. Unfortunately for the Swedes, Team Dignitas managed to win the followed round, leaving Ninjas in Pyjamas low on money. FeTiSh won a flawless round for his team by taking down three enemies with AWP. GeT_RiGhT turned the tide in his favor, as he decided to rush from outside and managed to outmatch three opponents. GeT_RiGhT won the next round as well, securing match point for the Swedish squad. Ninjas in Pyjamas won the match.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are now moving to the grand final between SE Emil 'HeatoN' Christensen's Ninjas in Pyjamas and the Polish pride Virtus.pro. The first map of the best-of-three series was de_train, where we witnessed Ninjas in Pyjamas starting on the stronger CT side and winning the pistol round in a 3on1 situation versus NEO. The Swedish team managed to win the next round as well, but lost the third, as we witnessed pasha surviving the crossfire and stealing AWP, resulting in three kills in total and a round victory for the Polish pride. Virtus.pro secured the sixth round thanks to snax, who shot down three targets during that round. The Polish team scored a team ace during the eighth round. Ninjas in Pyjamas managed to win the next round, but was demolished during the followed one. Absolutely outstanding performance by pasha scored one more round for the Polish team, as he managed to shoot down three enemies with AWP. Another team ace was made by Virtus.pro, simply astonishing play from the Polish team. Ninjas in Pyjamas managed to secure the last round of the first half.

Xizt and his troops managed to win the pistol round of the second half. GeT_RiGhT won a devastating 1on2 situation. The youngster byali killed four enemies, but failed to clutch the round in a 1on1 situation against Xizt. The in-game leader of the Swedish team Xizt secured an important round by eliminating four opposing players. Virtus.pro quickly returned with full equipment and a SCAR-20 auto sniper and managed to win the followed round. GeT_RiGhT and friberg saved couple of rounds, but unfortunately were unable to infiltrate Virtus.pro's bombsite A. The situation that happened during the next round was a bit embarrassing for GeT_RiGhT, as he decided to knife snax in a 1on1 situation as he did, but unluckily that cost Ninjas in Pyjamas an essential round, as snax was able to defuse the bomb hidden in smoke, before GeT_RiGhT to knife him. Click here to watch the situation of the mentioned round. TaZ won the first map with three kills in the end. Winning eleven rounds as T on de_train as Virtus.pro did is extremely hard to beat, even for a top team such as Ninjas in Pyjamas.

The second map was de_inferno. Virtus.pro started on the weaker T side, but managed to win the pistol rounds thanks to byali and pasha. Ninjas in Pyjamas managed to win an eco round, but closely. The Swedish team won a flawless round after that by successfully retaking bombsite A. Virtus.pro was crushed by f0rest during the next round, as he killed four players from the Polish squad. VP's pasha succeeded to take the lead by taking down four enemies during the seventh round. A critical round was won by friberg, who too scored four frags and tied the scores. Ninjas in Pyjamas won the next round flawlessly. The tenth round went to Virtus.pro, as we witnessed byali taking down four in style. Xizt decided to go aggressive and managed to win a round for his team with three kills in the end. Another flawless round was secured by the Swedish giants, as friberg sprayed down three targets. NEO and the company added the thirteenth round to their stack. Ninjas in Pyjamas won the last round of the first half and secured a nice lead.

The second half was not good at all for the Polish pride as unluckily for them, GeT_RiGhT and Fifflaren managed to win the massive pistol round in a 2on2 situation. Strong individual play and intelligent grenades use won Ninjas in Pyjamas the needed seven rounds to win the second map and to move forward to third and final map. Virtus.pro was unable to take a single round during the second half.

The third and final map was de_dust2. Virtus.pro started on the favored T side and managed to secure the pistol round, as snax managed to clutch 1on1 situation with four kills in total. The third round went to the Polish side as well, as we witnessed pasha blowing up two with a grenade opening the pathway to long for Virtus.pro. During the first gun round Fifflaren got boosted on middle and managed to win an AWP duel versus pasha, but yet Ninjas in Pyjamas lost the round against snax and byali. The Swedish team however won the sixth round on the edge. Unfortunately for HeatoN's squad, snax won the seventh round with four kills, resetting NiP's income. Despite pasha's lightning fast entry kills, friberg was able to secure two important rounds for the ninjas, but pasha continued to carry the Polish team, as he managed to clean out bombsite A with three instant kills. Fifflaren once again won a sniper duel against pasha, giving his team the early advantage and allowing friberg to add yet another round for his team in the scoreboard. GeT_RiGhT won the last round of the first half with three kills.

TaZ and pasha quickly scored the pistol round of the second half with two frags each. The next round was extremely close, but byali managed to clutch a crucial 2on2 situation and scored an ace by doing this. Ninjas in Pyjamas won the next round with a middle to bombsite B rush. GeT_RiGhT and f0rest won one more in tight situation. Great communication between TaZ and snax won Virtus.pro an important round. GeT_RiGhT won an insane 1on2 situation and tied the score. Few more rounds were exchanged between the finalists, but in the end Ninjas in Pyjamas managed to overcome the Polish pride and to win Copenhagen Games 2014.
